Shipping DCI signs pact with Mazagon Docks Our Bureau
VISAKHAPATNAM: The Dredging Corporation of India (DCI) here has signed an agreement with Mazagon Docks Ltd, Mumbai, for the construction of 1. no. dumb cutter suction dredger of 2,000 cubic metre solids per hour pumping capacity. According to a press release issued here on Wednesday, Mazagon Docks would construct the dredger in collaboration with Vosta. LMG, Germany, at a cost of Rs 252.81 crore. It would be delivered within 24 months. The contract was signed here by Mr Neerav Kumar Guptha, Chairman and Managing Director of DCI, and Capt. S.K. Murthy, Director, Mazagon Docks.
