JRG(Kochi) launches mobile trading

JRG Wealth Management Ltd, a Kochi-based brokerage house, has launched a mobile phone-based commodity futures trading platform that enables users to trade while they are on the move.

JRG launched the `M-Trade' platform in association with Financial Technologies, which developed the software `I-win' for the trading, and Nokia, the leading mobile phone manufacturer.

In order to do trading on the mobile phone, users will have to install the I-win software on their Nokia handsets in the series of 60,80 and 90. JRG will install the software for the users, said Mr Giby Mathew, Managing Director.

Users will have to a pay a monthly rent of Rs 500 each for trading on MCX or NCDEX. They will also have to pay the GPRS rates to their mobile service providers.

The M-Trade trading platform will allow investors to see the market rates while on the move, and also to enter, modify or cancel orders, view their positions and conduct transactions through a secure encrypted channel.

JRG has also announced that it has launched `JRG Health Care' for the investors and their family members in association with United Insurance Company Ltd.
