Sangam net rises 86 pc

MUMBAI: Sangam (India) Ltd, a polyester-viscose dyed yarn manufacturer, has posted an 86 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 5.79 crore for the quarter ended September 2005 against Rs 3.11 crore in the year-ago period.

Net sales rose 30 per cent to Rs 82.28 crore (Rs 63.33 crore). Exports increased by 64 per cent to Rs 15.86 crore (Rs 9.66 crore).
