GHCL net profit rises

NEW DELHI: GHCL Ltd (formerly Gujarat Heavy Chemicals) has registered a 358-per cent increase in net profit for the second quarter of the current fiscal at Rs 23.43 crore, compared with Rs 5.11 crore in the corresponding quarter the previous fiscal.

The company's gross sales were up 37 per cent from Rs 136.50 crore in the second quarter of the previous fiscal to Rs 186.61 crore.
