GAIL to set up diagnostic centres in AP soon

HYDERABAD: Gas Authority of India Ltd (GAIL) set up an `Air Pollution-Related Disease Diagnostic Centre (APRDC) at the MNJ Institute of Oncology in the city soon. These centres would also come up at Rajahmundry and Vijayawada.

The public sector company will support the centres under the corporate social responsibility programme, a press release said. The company would set up 22 such centres across the country. Each hospital that hosted the centre would get Rs 20 lakh each to acquire modern diagnostic equipment. The hospitals concerned would provide the manpower.
