`Lean Manufacturing' seminar

KOCHI: To create awareness on Lean Manufacturing, CII-Kerala is organising here a seminar on `Lean Manufacturing for Competitive Advantage' on Friday at Hotel Renaissance.

The objective of the seminar is to provide an overview of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices, bottom line benefits for the organisation and highlight best practices in Lean Manufacturing from companies which have done pioneering work in it.

Lean Manufacturing is a well-proven concept to enable companies to become a world-class organisation amidst fiercely competitive business world. In India, more than 90 per cent of the business organisations are not yet familiar with the tune of power of Lean and its advantages in the manufacturing process.
