New desktop from Lenovo

BANGALORE: As part of an initiative to drive 64-bit technology in the country, Lenovo India announced the launch of the new desktop ThinkCentre A51 on Wednesday.

This desktop incorporates dual-core processing and 64-bit computing capabilities to support most demanding business applications, said a company press release.

ThinkCentre A51 is priced between Rs 24,590 and Rs 36,000 and is powered by Intel Pentium 4 processor with 1-2 MB L2 cache. Integrated into the system is Intel 915 GV chipset and 256 MB DDR SDRAM memory. ThinkCentre is also equipped with a 48X CD ROM drive and Ethernet. The device comes with a 15" CRT monitor which can be upgraded to a 15" TFT monitor, the release said.
