THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The meeting of the national council of the Nabard Officers' Association will be held in the city on Monday and Tuesday.

According to a press release issued by the association, the meeting will be held in the auditorium at the regional office of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Nabard).

Mr P. Sadasivan Pillai, President, Bank Employees Federation of India, will inaugurate the meeting at 9.30 a.m. on Monday. An open session, to be inaugurated by Mr Varkala Radhakrishnan, Member of Parliament, will be held on Monday evening, the release says.

Leaders of other unions in the banking sector will also address the open forum.
