Our Bureau

Chennai , Oct 2

TO be a professional these days is not different from being an entrepreneur. If your behaviour does not match that of an entrepreneur, employers do not value the relationship with you, Mr B. Ramalinga Raju, Founder and Chairman, Satyam Computer Services Ltd, told this year's graduates of Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA).

Mr Raju gave four key advices for the graduates to become successful professionals. They are; learn to dream - it is important to dream, and dream in a structured fashion. Learn to create your dreams.

Commit passionately to your goals. To succeed, you should be prepared to fail. Prepare to take risks It is important that you learn to demystify knowledge. Learn to communicate and connect.

LIBA's Director, Fr P. Christie, in his remarks said that for the past ten years in a row, the institute had attained 100 per cent placement for its students. LIBA placement has seen an increase in the number of blue chip companies recruiting its students.

The institute had also witnessed a positive trend in the increase in monetary emoluments offered and the average salary currently was Rs 4.2 lakh a year, he said.
