TNT gets IIP accreditation

Our Bureau

Bangalore , Sept. 27

TNT India has been accredited with the Investor in People (IIP) standards, an internationally recognised accreditation for companies' people practices.

IIP has been developed by the UK Government in partnership with representatives of UK employers' organisations, employee bodies and professional institutions.

Mr Abhik Mitra, Managing Director, TNT India, says, "IIP considers a whole gamut of areas in people's learning, development and management practices before awarding the accreditation." Training programmes, communication, management development programmes, compensation, incentives and other talent engagement processes were studied by the UK-based group. Companies across the globe use IIP as a business tool to make the best of their people by recognising their contribution to the business.
