Shastri Award

NEW DELHI: Mr Chandrika Prasad Srivastava, Founding Chancellor Emeritus of World Maritime University Malmo, Sweden, has been chosen for the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Award for excellence in Public Administration, Academics and Management for 2004.

The President, Mr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, will present the award in Rashtrapati Bhawan on October 1.
