Disaster wave

This refers to the article, "After Katrina's fury, the agony and shame" (Business Line, September 7). It was indeed shocking to read of the US government's inability in crisis management.

By contrast, our own governments, at Centre and State, and NGOs deserve high praise for their excellent response to the tsunami.
