The Hindu Business Line : Dasgupta is new CEO, MD of Petronet LNG

MR Prosad Dasgupta has replaced Mr Suresh Mathur as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Petronet LNG Ltd, according to an official communication.

Mr Dasgupta was earlier the Director (Finance), Petronet LNG. Petronet LNG is a company formed by the Government to import LNG and set up LNG terminals in the country. It is a joint venture company promoted by GAIL (India) Ltd, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd with an authorised capital of Rs 1,200 crore.
