MBT to promote software development campus in Pune

Mumbai , Sept. 8

MAHINDRA British Telecom (MBT) has decided to build a new 6,000-seat software development campus at Hinjewadi in Pune.

"As we embark on this road to expansion, we intend to hire over 4,000 people," said Mr Vineet Nayyar, CEO and Managing Director. "The Hinjewadi Special Economic Zone will further provide us with significant Income Tax benefits," said Mr Nayyar, The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation will make this a showcase campus to promote the State as an IT destination, said a news release from the company, quoting Chief Minister, Mr Vilasrao Deshmukh.
