Mumbai , Sept. 3 JET Airways India Ltd has entered into agreements with Jet Enterprise Pvt Ltd (JEPL) under which the latter has transferred and assigned to Jet Airways, its right, title and interest in the `Jet Airways' trademark and other related trademarks. The trademarks have so far been licensed by JEPL to Jet Airways. Agreements for the transfer of trademark were entered into on July 18, 2005. The trademark rights were transferred to Jet Airways for $7 million (Rs 30.44 crore). The licence agreements between JEPL and the company have come to an end, said a notice posted on the BSE on Saturday. According to a company official, Jet Airways now owns the brand. The valuation of trademark rights was done by independent agencies, he added. `Jet Airways' is a registered trademark in India and abroad, including in Hong Kong, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates and Mauritius. However, objections have been raised to the registration of the `Jet Airways' trademark in the UK and in the US.
