Events Variety - Tourism 43rd tourism fair kicks off Our Bureau

Kolkata , Sept. 3 THE 43rd Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF), one of Eastern India's major travel and tourism expositions, took off here on Saturday. West Bengal's Minister for Tourism, Mr Dinesh Dakua, inaugurated the fair. Over 30,000 people are expected to visit the fair between September 3 and 5 This year, more than 200 participants, including those from 10 foreign countries, will showcase their offerings to potential tourists. Twenty-one States are participating in TTF this year. Among those who have put up prominent presentations include Uttaranchal, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Jammu & Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh. These States have taken up large pavilions to showcase their tourist destinations.
