ING Vysya offers SB account for students

Visakhapatnam , Sept. 2

ING Vysya Bank has introduced a special savings account — named Solo — for students, especially those staying away from home for pursuing higher education.

Mr P. Lakshmana Rao, Vice-President (Retail) and regional head, said at a press meet here on Friday that it was a zero-balance account which would enable the student to avail himself (or herself) of all the facilities offered by the bank such as Internet banking.

The student could open the account in isolation or in conjunction with his father or mother.

It would facilitate easy, free remittances from parents to students through the bank.
