`Innova selling well in Kerala'

KOCHI: Toyota Kirloskar Motor has claimed the leadership position in the midsize passenger car market in Kerala with a market share of over 35 per cent for its Innova multi-purpose vehicle.

"On a year-to-year basis, Innova has outsold its predecessor that Qualis by around 19 per cent since its launch in late February 2005," a company statement said here.

During March-July 2005, the company has sold 1,208 units of Innova in Kerala, the statement said, adding that 20,000th Innova was also sold to a customer in the State.
