KOCHI: Mithra Agricultural Producer Company Ltd, floated jointly by various cooperative enterprises in the city with the help from farmers and Ernakulam District Cooperative Bank, is launching two supermarkets in the city in the first week of September.

The supermarkets called Mudra Mega Marts (MMM) will come up near the TDM Hall on Durbar Hall Road and near Ernakulam Medical Centre on NH Bypass. Mithra, a platform of primary and marketing cooperative enterprises, self-help groups and co-operative units in the handloom and milk sector, would promote indigenous agriculture products.
