The Hindu Business Line : Kalam to inaugurate global meet on accounting profession

AN international conference on the theme `Accounting profession: Adding value to the new horizons of economic growth' is to be inaugurated by the President, Mr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, here on September 1.

The two-day conference is being organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. It is likely to see the participation of about 1,200 delegates including those from Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
