Outsourcing Logistics - Airlines Spanco gets Air India contract Our Bureau
MUMBAI: Spanco Telesystems and Solutions Ltd's domestic call centre business has received an outsourcing contract worth Rs five crore from Air India, said a stock exchange notice by the company. The contract is for a duration of three years and marks the company's entry into the domestic aviation vertical. The domestic call centre business, which operates under the brand name of Sparsh, has already commenced operations and is providing services for Air India Customer Service from its Mumbai and Gurgaon centres, said the notice. Sparsh provides inbound services to all the passenger traffic of Air India within India including attending inbound calls relating to flight information, booking and reservations, hotel and limo bookings, baggage, tele-check-in and complaints. The company had already received a long-term outsourcing contract from Air India for its international call centre operations, being run under the name Respondez. It is providing similar services to the passengers of Air India from UK, USA and Canada.
