The Hindu Business Line : TVS Motor sales rev up

TVS Motor Company's two-wheeler sales in July were 1,01,359 vehicles against 1,00,224 in the same period last year, according to a press release from the company.

It sold 53,215 motorcycles (52,958) in July. It plans to bring out two variants during the current quarter.

TVS Scooty sales were 24,244 units (22,501 units). This brand continues as the market leader in the scooterette segment, the release said.

Moped sales were 23,900 units (24,765 units). Exports doubled to 9,012 units in July.
