Mico Q2 net down

BANGALORE: Mico has posted a net profit of Rs 102.3 crore for the second quarter ended June 30, 2005 against Rs 104.3 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2004. The total income has increased from Rs 607.9 crore to Rs 765.80 crore.

The company proposes to invest Rs 8.25 crore which is 25 per cent of the equity capital of the joint venture company to be established for the manufacture of filters for automotive application. The balance will be contributed by Robert Bosch Investment Nederland B V, Netherlands (25 per cent) and Mann & Hummel Pvt Ltd, India (50 per cent).
