Honda issue: Left parties' demands

New Delhi, July 26

LEFT party leaders met the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, late on Tuesday evening and placed the following demands:

  • Treatment of the injured in Delhi and compensation.

  • Probe by sitting and not retired judge.

  • Remove `accused' officials before judicial probe.

  • Get management of Honda Motorcycle and Scooter Indiato sit with workers to sort out matters.
