THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A team of entrepreneurs in the signage industry has launched Vertex Sign and Display Pvt Ltd offering wide and super wide digital printing services.

Vertex is deploying the imported VUTEk digital printing machine, which is considered the world's best, said Mr Chandran S.P.S, Managing Director, Vertex Sign and Display. VUTEk is US-based and is part of the EFI group. The VUTEk UltraVu II 3360 FC digital printer is able to work on 26,000 sq ft and more of space on a daily basis, which is suitable for billboards, bus shelters, building murals, fleet graphics, bus panels, flex banners and stage graphics, among others.

The growth in economy is expected to lead to commensurate spending in sectors such as telecom and insurance, which swear by large outdoor advertising campaigns. This will help create incremental demand for digital printing works in the State and even outside, Mr Chandran said.
