Letters Better planning
This refers to the item "Bangalore puts off biotech sector too" (Business Line, July 21). It is a poor reflection on the State Government. If Bangalore loses its brand name, it does not augur well for India. At the same time, it should be a lesson to other State governments to work on planning for future developments while developing the present. Hyderabad, Pune, and Chennai may be the gainers. The current situation in Bangalore should also be an eye-opener for Kerala which is struggling with a smart city plan for Kochi. The State should speed up development and progress and the Opposition should cooperate. A. Jacob Sahayam Thiruvanantahpuram
