Kalam to deliver inaugural address at `Mission 2007' meet

New Delhi , July 8

THE President, Mr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, would deliver the inaugural address at the `Second Convention of the National Alliance Mission 2007: Every Village a Knowledge Centre' to be held here on July 11.

"Achieving a sustainable human security is a priority task. This will call for harmony with nature and with each other. Knowledge connectivity within and amongst countries will help to achieving this goal," Professor M.S. Swaminathan, Chairperson of Mission 2007, said in a statement

Besides Prof. Swaminathan, other speakers at the convention include the Union Communications and IT Minister, Mr Dayanidhi Maran, and the Rajasthan Chief Minister, Ms Vasundhara Raje Scindia.

Mr Kiran Karnik, President of Nasscom; Mr S. Ramadorai, CEO of TCS; and Mr Saurabh Srivastava, Chairman Emeritus, Nasscom, will also speak.
