Reliance WebWorld launches 3-week `Digital Olympiad'

Mangalore , July 6

RELIANCE WebWorld, in association with ANTS and Weekender, launched `Digital Olympiad 2005' in Karnataka on Wednesday.

Speaking to newspersons over a multi-city videoconference on Wednesday, Mr Viney Singh, CEO of Reliance Infocomm, Karnataka Circle said that around 4,000 school children from 15 schools across Bangalore, Mangalore, Belgaum, Hubli, and Mysore are participating in this competition.

The three-week-long event consists of design workshops, mind games, and online quiz competitions.

Two winners will be declared every day in each of the 15 WebWorlds. They will take part in the final - an all-Karnataka quiz contest - via videoconferencing in the 15 WebWorlds.

The first two students will be declared champions of the `Digital Olympiad'.

ANTS, an animation company, provides content for design workshop in the Olympiad.
