Better transportation

This refers to the editorial "Moving the masses"(Business Line, July 4). The development of mass transport systems could provide citizens not only with cheaper mode of travel, but would reduce the number of accidents, lead to savings on petrol, reduce congestion on roads, etc.

Simultaneously, cycling could be encouraged and special corridors, by broadening roads, could be created for the purpose. An integrated transport system is good. But it should be able to attend the special needs of different places and different people.
