SiNett ties up with SafeNet

Our Bureau

BANGALORE: SiNett Corporation, developer of silicon and software for next-generation network infrastructures, has announced a collaboration with SafeNet Inc, a global leader in information security, to create a reference platform for secure, enterprise-class networking products that support integrated wireless and wired access.

The collaboration, combining SiNett's OneEdge, the market's first purpose-built switch processor for unified wireless, and wired enterprise networks with SafeNet's QuickSec3.0, a network security software solution, will address the critical need for end-to-end security in enterprise networks.

Network equipment manufacturers will use the reference platform to quickly build highly secure wireless LAN and Unified Access switches and wireless LAN appliances.
