Farmers' meet

Our Bureau

HYDERABAD: The Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA) is preparing a platform that would pave the way for formation of `Rythu Samakhya of Ranga Reddy district'.

The CRIDA would organise a gathering on July 25 to discuss problems faced by farmers. "This is apolitical. This would be managed by farmers themselves," a CRIDA press release said here.

"The platform would also help them increase farm productivity and income levels," it said.
