Era Constructions gets cable order

MUMBAI: Era Constructions Ltd has bagged an Rs 79-crore order from Aksh Broadband Ltd for laying of cables in Andhra Pradesh, as part of the broadband project being implemented in the State to provide time convergence.

A company press release said the order is to be executed over a period of 12 months. This marks the company's foray into a new area of infrastructure development.

The company has projected a requirement of plant and machinery worth Rs 26 crore.

It has been sanctioned working capital limits of Rs 97 crore by its bankers, consisting of fund-based limit of Rs 15 crore and non-fund based limit of Rs 82 crore.

The company has targeted a turnover of Rs 225 crore for the current fiscal, covering diversified sectors such as construction of hospitals, schools, townships, roads, port and railways.
