Manipal Clinic launched

BANGALORE: Manipal Hospital on Thursday made a foray into primary healthcare with the launch of its `Manipal Clinic' at Jayanagar in Bangalore. With this new facility, the Manipal Health System has become an integrated healthcare delivery model in Bangalore with primary health clinics, a secondary care hospital and a tertiary care referral centre.

Manipal Health System already has a tertiary care referral centre on the Airport Road and the secondary care Manipal Northside Hospital at Malleshwaram. The hospital plans to set up more Manipal clinics across Bangalore.

Mr R. Basil, Chief Executive Officer, Manipal Health System, said, "Our vision at Manipal is to provide affordable healthcare to everyone in the most friendly manner. With primary health centres, we will now be able to extend our services to more people."
