Bangalore , June 29

TESSOLVE Inc has announced the setting up of a testing facility offering a range of product engineering services to global and domestic customers with an investment of Rs 45 crore.

The company, which has about 50 testing professionals on board, expects to have 120 people by the end of 2006.

Till date, the semiconductor industry in the country has been able to complete only a part of the design phase. Now, with the introduction of Tessolve's cost effective solutions for test development, failure analysis and reliability testing, much more will be possible, said Mr P. Raja Manickam, Founder and CEO, Tessolve.

"The value proposition of providing world class product engineering services in close proximity with design groups in the semiconductor industry in India makes sense, since we can also leverage the local talent pool," said Mr Ashok Belani, co-founder, Tessolve. "We see India as a growing market with opportunities expanding in the semiconductor arena," said Mr V. Veerappan, V-P, operations.

The Bangalore facility consists of a testing lab, with a secure workspace for testing professionals and offers a complete range of product engineering services, Mr Veerappan said.
