CHENNAI: "I am Gifted, So Are You," a motivational and accelerated learning programme for teenagers will be launched in Chennai in September.

The concept is designed for students in the age group of 13-18 years to help them achieve their goals in life using effective learning strategies, according to Ms Priya S. Dixit, Director, Lakshan Products Pte Ltd, Singapore, which is launching the programme in India.

The concept is based on the book "I Am Gifted, So Are you," written by Mr Adam Khoo, CEO of the Singapore-based Adam Khoo Learning Technologies Group, she told newspersons. After Chennai, the company plans to launch the programme in Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi, she said.

According to Ms Shanthi Chandrasekar, Director, Lakshan Products, the four-day programme focuses on personality development, family communication and academic excellence. The programme would cost Rs 12,000-15,000.

The programme is conducted regularly in Singapore and Malaysia during school holidays and over one lakh students have benefited from it, she said.
