Entries called for FAPCCI awards

HYDERABAD: The Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) has called for entries for the 88th edition of the awards programme.

Announcing the programme, Mr O.P. Goenka, President, said that there would be 20 awards in different categories.

There are six awards in industry performance and three each in R&D and new innovative products.

Mr Goenka, who is stepping down as the President on Wednesday, said that the performance of industries and individuals during 2003-04 would be taken into consideration in deciding the winners.

One of the awards would go to a physically challenged person who excels in self-sustained activity.
