Bangladesh bank team visits SBH

HYDERABAD: State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) has announced that a group of 20 officials from the Bangladesh Bank, the Central Bank of Bangladesh, visited the bank here on Thursday.

In a press release, SBH said the group was in the city to attend a programme on `Internal Control and Compliance' organised at the instance of South Asia Development Facility of the World Bank Group and conducted by the Academy of Corporate Governance.

According to SBH, the Bangladesh Bank team was briefed on the risk focussed internal audit mechanism adopted by the Hyderabad-based public sector bank.
