THE Reserve Bank of India has cancelled the certificate of registration granted to Bhojwani Leasing and Finance Ltd for carrying on the business of a non-banking financial institution, as on April 29, 2005.

Following the cancellation of the registration certificate, the company cannot transact the business of a non-banking financial institution. The company has also been prohibited from acceptance of deposits and prohibited from alienation of assets.
