Strategy Corporate - Alliances & Joint Ventures US imagery co signs pact with Visage Media Our Bureau
Hyderabad , May 23 GETTY Images, a US-based imagery company, has signed a pact with Hyderabad-based Visage Media Services to represent it in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Bhutan, Nepal and Maldives. Customers in these countries, who had been sourcing Getty Images collections from its Singapore office, can access them from its Indian partner. According to Mr Srini Kilambi, Chief Executive Officer of Visage Media Services, the creative clients in the region can now access the comprehensive collection of quality imagery from a local partner. "This will make their job far easier,'' he said here in a press release. Mr Andrew Booth, Vice-President (Emerging Markets), said the move would fit well in long-term growth opportunity for the company in India. "A key focus for us this year is accelerating international growth particularly in non-English speaking markets," he said.
