Jet starts daily flights between Chennai, Kuala Lumpur

Chennai , May 18

JET Airways on Wednesday made Kuala Lumpur its fourth international destination with a daily service between Chennai and the Malaysian capital.

Mr U. Harish Shenoy, General Manager, South India & Sri Lanka, said that the flight is operated by a new generation B 737-800 aircraft configured for international operations with 16 business class seats and 124 seats in the economy class.

The flight will depart Chennai at 11 p.m. and arrive at Kuala Lumpur at 5.30 a.m. the following morning. The return flight will depart Kuala Lumpur at 7.35 a.m. and arrive in Chennai at 8.50 a.m., local time.

Mr Shenoy said that the airline would be offering a "bucket of fares" on this sector starting with a round trip fare of Rs 10,750.
