Coffee New Coffee Board chief takes charge Our Bureau
Bangalore , May 18 MR G. V. Krishna Rau has assumed charge on Wednesday as the Chairman of the Coffee Board, Bangalore. Mr Rau succeeds Ms Lakshmi Venkatachalam, who held the chairperson's post for over five years. Ms Venkatachalam is credited for creating an international brand awareness for Indian coffees, especially in the speciality coffee segment in the US and Europe. Mr Rau has served in various capacities in different parts of the State. Before assuming charge as the Chairman of the Coffee Board, Mr Rau was the Managing Director of Mysore Paper Mills Ltd.
