Announcements Marketing - Channels and Franchises Somany Tiles to market Turkish company products Our Bureau
New Delhi , May 14 SOMANY Tiles has announced that it has acquired the exclusive rights in India for importing and marketing the products of the Turkish flagship company of the $750-million Kale Group, Kaleseramik. At present, the partnership entails introducing to the Indian consumer the well known Kale Stone and vitrified tiles, wall and floor tiles. However, at a later date, apart from expanding the product range, the two companies plan to leverage each other's production facility to service the global market. Somany has two manufacturing plants at Kassar, Haryana and Kadi, Gujarat, while Kaleseramik has 27 plants and a production capacity of 25 million sqm of wall tiles, 30 million sqm of floor tiles, 5 million sqm of vitrified tiles and 2 million sqm of accessories.
