Security Marketing - New Products & Services Zicom to launch security solutions in 7 more cities Our Bureau
Hyderabad , May 14 ZICOM Electronic Security Systems Ltd, the Mumbai-based electronic security solutions provider, plans to launch `Z-Security' solutions in seven more cities in the next four months. The Zicom Chairman, Mr Manohar Bidaye, said the test launch of `Z-Security' solution in Mumbai had attracted good response, both from the residential and commercial establishments, and the company has recorded over 1,000 installations. "Z-Security solution is an integrated electronic security service with a combination of sensors, close-circuit television systems, among others, which offers alerts in cases such as intrusion, fire and gas leakage. Using the GPRS technology, the customers can also access the security intelligence information on their mobile phones. Depending on the lifestyle and size of business, the users can customise the `Z-Security' solution in terms of security needs and budget," Mr Bidaye said. Apart from monitoring the premises covered under `Z-Security' through mobile phones on a real-time basis, the customers can also access certain electrical and electronic equipment in those premises through mobile. Having offered these services at a cost of Rs 775 a month for each premise in Mumbai, the company now hopes to reduce the cost significantly after its launch in more cities. The cities where `Z-Security' would be launched in the next four months include Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune and Jaipur.
