The headline "Call US, Canada at 83 paise per minute'' of the news report on BSNL bids that appeared on the front page on Friday is not correct. 83 paise is what Reliance Infocomm would charge BSNL for carrying ILD traffic. International long distance tariffs may fall as a result.

The error is regretted.
