Unannounced power cuts

At present the grid power supply in Coimbatore has frequent fluctuations. Also TNEB cut the maximum demand without prior notice or any assurance of resumption.

The electricity sub-station at Coimbatore is fully aware of the non-availability of power. They could communicate the extent of the short supply to consumers at least 24 hours in advance before deciding to cut off supply. In the absence of such information, the Textile, Industry in Coimbatore is particularly unaware of the extent of power cut and its duration.
