GM sales rise 58 pc in April

New Delhi , May 3

GENERAL Motors India registered an over 58 per cent growth to 2,214 cars in April as against 1,401 cars sold in the same month last year.

The Tavera accounted for a significant proportion of sales in the month with 1,603 units.

This was followed by the Chevrolet Optra at 406 units and 200 units of the Opel Corsa.

In the January-April period, the company sold 10,611 cars (6,792).
