Pune , May 2

WITH temperatures soaring, Hitachi Home & Life Solutions India (HHLI) is all set to literally take cooling of Hitachi air-conditioners to the people's doorstep.

A first of its kind in AC industry, Hitachi has introduced `mobile showrooms' in the city of Pune, a series of converted LCVs that recreates the comfort of an AC showroom and displays the entire Hitachi range of air-conditioners.

From May 6, Hitachi's mobile showrooms will reach residential and commercial areas of Pune and encourage residents to come and experience the Hitachi technology.

The showroom is cooled with Hitachi air-conditioners and showcases the Hitachi range, including Quadricool TM, world's most silent window AC and Atom UV, world's smallest split AC.

The mobile showrooms will be parked at various key housing societies and locations and give people a real life experience of Hitachi technology. They will traverse through 12 cities covering over 5,000 km and almost 1.5 lakh air-conditioner buyers.

This is the first time an AC company has attempted to reach people at their own grounds. Mr Akira Kamitani, Managing Director, HHLI, said, "As a part of Hitachi's vision to continually innovate, this is another first from Hitachi on interactive marketing. Mobile showrooms are the perfect instruments to get a direct access to the customers and get their first hand feedback."

HHLI a subsidiary of Hitachi Home & Life Solutions Inc Japan, is amongst the largest AC players in the Indian market.

Headquartered in Ahmedabad, HHLI's manufacturing plant at Kadi is amongst the seven Hitachi room air-conditioner facilities worldwide.
