AirTel services in Salem

CHENNAI: Bharti Tele-Ventures plans to invest Rs 21 crore in commissioning broadband and telephone services in Tamil Nadu.

The company launched its AirTel broadband and telephone services in Salem. Tiruchi, Tuticorin and Tirunelveli will follow the rollout of service in Salem.

Besides Tamil Nadu, the company provides broadband and telephone services to Haryana, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

According to a press release, Mr Deepak Pande, Chief Operating Officer, Bharti Infotel Ltd- TN (a Bharti group company), said that with the launch in Salem, AirTel's broadband and telephone services are currently expanded into eight cities in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.
