Our Bureau

New Delhi , April 26

PANACEA Biotec has launched UpRight (a fixed dose combination of aceclofenac and paracetamol), which claims to offer relief from severe pain and inflammation. While aceclofenac relieves pain and inflammation through a variety of mechanisms, paracetamol is an effective analgesic-antipyretic agent.

In a statement, Mr Rajesh Jain, Joint Managing Director, Panacea Biotec, said, "Our quest for providing a holistic solution for severe painful and inflammatory conditions has lead to the launch of UpRight. This is superior to other NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs)."

The drug can be prescribed for severe pain and inflammation indications in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, spondylitis, low back pain, dental pain, pelvic pain and also for painful and inflammatory conditions of ear, nose and throat.
