MUMBAI: Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd's fruit processing division has recently formalised and concluded a contract of over Rs 30 crore for the supply of mango pulp to Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd - the Indian arm of Coca-Cola.

This year's quantity is 29 per cent higher than last year, the company said in a statement to the bourses.

The fruit processing division of Jain Irrigation Systems has been a major supplier to Hindustan Coca Cola for the last five years. The company also supplies mango pulp and concentrate to Coca-Cola's bottling operations in different countries.

"The company's plants have been audited and approved for supply to Coca-Cola and Minute Maid bottling system," it said in a communiqué to the Bombay Stock Exchange. In India, mango pulp is used in Hindustan Coca Cola's fruit based drink `Maaza'.
